Why?

She needs all the support in the world.

As parents, teachers, community all hands should be on deck to ensure that we bring her up in a proper way.

As a parent 👂🏾👂🏾

⭐Pay attention to your girl child; understand her spoken and unspoken language, be sensitive to know when something is not right.

⭐Give her care and attention.

⭐Create a relationship;make her feel free to talk to you about anything and at any time.

⭐Don't be too busy to attend to her cry😭 for attention,.if she cannot be free and open with you, then I wonder 🤔 who she can be free with.

👉🏽it is one of your duties and responsibilities to not only teach your learners how to read and write ✍️ , but to also care for them as your children.

👉🏽Pay attention to their individual needs, try to understand why some learners behave the way they do. Some of them may be passing through a lot that you can't even imagine. Some go to school on an empty stomach, with no writing material, menstruating without sanitary pads, some are being abused psychologically and emotionally at home or even in school.

Dear teachers, please pay attention to your learners.

💪🏽it's our collective responsibility to help parents and teachers do the above mentioned jobs, but then, allow people live in peace.

💪🏽Be understanding; don't be the reason why a girl aborts a pregnancy because she's afraid of what people will say, or why a girl will die in the hands of a rapist and then he gets away with it because he's her uncle.

My community! Our community!! The life of a girl child matters, you are destroying our lives with societal pressures. Please stop.
